Taunton is home to a thriving number of shops, gastro pubs, restaurants and bars.

 

There are many things to see and do, whilst you are here at our self catering accommodation, we are fortunate to have several beautiful beaches within a 30/40 minute drive, Exmouth, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Weston Super Mare and Minehead to name but a few. Along with this we also have many National Trust properties in the area.

 

Local attractions include, Hestercombe house, Sheppy's Cider Museum, Longleat, Bickleigh Mill and Somerset Boat Centre, where you hire boats, kayaks and paddle boards and cruise along the canal.

 

We have a PGA course within 4 minutes of the chalet - Oake Manor and we have other golf courses nearby, which we would be happy to book a tee time for you on your behalf.

In terms of shopping, Clarks village outlet shopping centre and Kilver Court designer outlet centre (which house the Mulberry outlet!) are within about 35 minutes of the chalet and well worth a visit.

 

Taunton is home to Somerset County Cricket Club and also home to the longest and oldest running annual flower show which is usually held in July/August. There is also a racecourse in Taunton too.
